They just don't know what they've done to this city, Karon Mitchell says of the city's ordinances targeted at motorcycle rally attendees. We're the ones getting hit, the business owners. The city council does not care. We are hurting and the effects of this are going to be felt for years to come. Mitchell owns the historic Chesterfield Inn on Ocean Boulevard a block from the Myrtle Beach Police safety check on Tuesday, May12, 2009. She said loyal customers have told her they will never come back to Myrtle Beach - rally or not - because of the city's stand against them. Photo by Janet Blackmon Morgan / jblackmon@thesunnews.com
